Bonus Post!

I’ve decided to try and commit to posting once a week to the blog, but I was so excited to have the food blog back that I’m going to post two today! LUCKY YOU.

This is a recipe I found on the back of a bag of coconut sugar I bought. So I figured I’d give it a try… boy am I glad I did!IMG_20171031_163927_488

I pretty much just followed the recipe (except I used an 8×8 pan cuz that’s what I had) and I just buttered the pan instead of using wax paper. Here’s how mine turned out:



To sweeten the deal, I was happening to make coconut sugar caramel (I’ll eventually post the recipe), so I drizzled some of that on top, as well as some coconut cream.





FUCKING yum! My mouth is super happy today. I’m really glad I tried the recipe. It ended up moist and has a thick cake-ish texture. Super strong chocolate flavor and just enough sweetness.
